HYGIENIC CLEAN LINERS FOR EVERY COW AT EVERY MILKING
It is generally known that cases of Mastitis cannot always be prevented on the dairy farm. However cross infection by the liners during milking can be eliminated by using a clean and dry liner for each cow milked.
Remains of Staphylococcus Aureus bacteria’s are present in the liner for at least the next 6 cow milkings and can therefore easily contaminate other cows. The unique AirWash 10 (AW10) liner rinsing system in between each cow milking is designed to prevent ‘cow to cow’ cross infection of contagious bacteria’s in a simple and efficient way.
The AW10 liner cleaning system ‘flushes out’ the remains of milk and bacteria by using water and filtered compressed air, therefore providing a clean and hygienic liner for the next cow to be milked. Tests have proven that the AW10 system significantly reduces the number of harmful bacteria in the liners by up to 95%!!

Mastitis cows dramatically reduce the milk production and therefore a considerable loss of income is caused as well as problems with the animal health and fertility. A high level of bulk tank somatic cell counts is resulting in less payment from the dairy factory of the collected milk. WORKING PRINCIPLE
Water and compressed air is intermittently injected 30 seconds after take-off of the cluster. The water and air is injected through special valves which are fitted into the liner stem and uses a minimum of drinking water per cluster.
The AW10 system can be configured for fully automatic operation by using the end of milking signal of the Automatic cluster removal system
or by a micro switch fitted at the exit gate. The system can also be manually operated by means of push button start by the milking parlour operator.
Installation of the AW10 system is easy and can be installed into any brand/type of milking parlour at any time.
